every PA program is different…

I *personally* think the most stressful part of the PA application process is how different each program’s requirements are. Every program has different deadlines, requirements, admission standards, and supplemental applications. However, your CASPA has a centralized area that gets sent to EVERY program you apply to. Another fun fact is that this centralized area (including personal statement, experience descriptions, COVID essay, life experience essay, etc) LOCKS once you press submit on your first program application. So, you need to make sure everything is updated and completed before submitting because you cannot go back and edit it! Often times, there will be a 6-month gap between your first submission and your last… so while this is not ideal, it is something you need to plan and prepare for.
