do not rush it
Like I mentioned in my previous post about CASPA opening day, this is a marathon NOT a sprint. You do not want to rush through the process because once you press submit on your central CASPA it is locked and you cannot make edits! So, even if you want to apply to 1 school extremely early you need to make sure the application is fully done before you submit it because you will not be able to edit your personal experience etc again. I know it is so tempting to rush through the application to submit it as soon as possible, but slow and steady wins the race!
where to start
When CASPA opens, the first and easiest portions to fill out are the demographics and grades. Just start to fill in as much of those “boring” sections as you can. You also should send LOR requests through CASPA to your chosen writers so they have ample time to fill it out and submit it on their end. Next, I would fill out the experience section. This can take much longer than expected so starting on the earlier side will always work in your favor!
